June is here along with the scorching heat of the summer. However, no weather can keep movie buffs away from the movie theatres. There are a lot of exciting and anticipated movies on tap this month. To help you keep up with the dates, we are listing some of the most awaited movies of June 2019 around the globe.

June 5:

Dark Phoenix:

The first release of the month will be getting an extended weekend in India because of the festive date. While the American superhero movie Dark Phoenix will release on 7th June in the United States of America, it will hit the theatres on Wednesday in India, i.e. 5th June.

Plot: Based on the comic books, Jean Grey will tap on her powers which corrupts her mind and turns her into the iconic Dark Phoenix. Now the X-Men will have to save the world from their own team member.

Cast: Sophie Turner is playing the titular character of Jean Grey who evolves into Dark Phoenix. Other pivotal cast includes Jennifer Lawrence, James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Tye Sheridan, Jessica Chastain and Alexandra Shipp.

Bharat:

Bharat is an Indian Hindi language period drama movie, which is an adaptation of the Korean melodrama Ode to My Father.

Plot: The movie revolves around the titular character and his journey facing odds over the 6 decades to keep the promise he made to his father.

Cast: Salman Khan is playing the titular role of Bharat while Katrina Kaif will play his love interest in the period drama. Other notable cast includes Disha Patani, Kashmira Irani, Tabu, Jackie Shroff and Sunil Grover.

Game Over:

Game Over is an Indian Tamil/Telugu bilingual drama thriller.

Plot: The movie revolves around the primary character, girl on a wheelchair, who is trying to defend her home from a mysterious identity.

Cast: Tapsee Pannu is portraying the primary character of Swapna while Vinodhini Vaidyanathan, Anish Kuruvilla and Sanchana Natarajan will play important characters in the movie.

Men in Black: International

Men in Black: International is the fourth addition to the American science fiction action comedy movie series.

Plot: The Men in Black agents have been saving Earth from the extraterrestrial beings and now the London based team have to tackle their biggest threat to date.

Cast: Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson will play the leading agents of the MIB team while Rebecca Ferguson, Kumail Nanjiani, Rafe Spall, Les Twins, Emma Thompson and Liam Neeson will play important parts in the movie.

Kabir Singh is an Indian Hindi-language drama movie, which is an official remake of the Telugu film, Arjun Reddy.

Plot: The story focuses on the titular character of Kabir Singh, a promising house surgeon, who throws himself on the destructive path after separation from his girlfriend.

Cast: Shahid Kapoor is playing the title character while Kiara Advani will portray his love interest. Other cast includes Arjan Bajwa, Suresh Oberoi, Nikita Dutta, Soham Majumdar, and Amit Sharma.

Toy Story 4:

Toy Story 4 is an American computer-animated comedy film which is the fourth instalment in the popular Toy Story series.

Anabelle Comes Home is an American horror movie based on the legends of the Anabelle doll. The movie is the seventh instalment in the popular Conjuring franchise.

Plot: Demonologists Ed and Lorraine Warren bring the haunted doll, Anabelle, to their home to keep her wreaking havoc. However, the Anabelle manages to awaken evil spirits inside their home and target Lorraine’s 10-year-old daughter and her babysitter.

Article 15 is an Indian police crime drama movie based on true events.
