John Abraham is on a spree of back to back movies and earlier announced his upcoming actioner in the pipeline while he was still awaiting the release of his comedy-drama Pagalpanti. John Abraham has been busy working on patriotic movies for some time now and Pagalpanti might serve as a treat for his fans who love to see his comical side, however, he is already primed for his next release which will be another addition to his patriotic movies league.

Confirming the release date of his actioner titled Attack, John Abraham made it clear that his movie will be released on the Independence Day 2020. The actor said, ” I’ve come to believe that the day belongs to me, not just because it’s a national holiday but also for the feelings it brings forth. Attack is an apt Independence Day release, patriotic without being jingoistic.”

Inspired by true events and helmed by debutant director, Lakshya Anand, Attack is expected to go on floors in January and will be hitting the theatres on 14 August 2020. On the other hand, filmmaker Bhushan Kumar earlier announced the release date of another actioner Bhuj: The Pride of India which will be releasing on the same date.

Bhuj: The Pride of India will also be based on true events and will be set in the backdrop of the 1971 Indo-Pak war. Helmed by Abhishek Dudhaiya, the actioner has an ensemble cast of Ajay Devgn, Sanjay Dutt, Parineeti Chopra, Sonakshi Sinha, Rana Daggubati and Ammy Virk.

Since both movies revolve around the same genre and aim for an Independence day release, the audience will struggle to pick between the two. Let us know your pick between the two movies in the comment section below.
