Known for blockbuster movies like Kaante, Shootout at Wadala, and Kaabil, director Sanjay Gupta is back with his forte genre in the untitled gangster drama starring John Abraham and Emraan Hashmi in the lead roles.

The fictional movie will revolve around some key events that turned Bombay to Mumbai and will be set in the era of 1980s and 1990s. John Abraham and Emraan Hashmi will play pivotal characters in the storyline and chronicle the journey of the city of dreams.

While Sanjay Gupta is joining hands with Emraan Hashmi for the first time, the Kaabil director has worked with John previously in two films, Zinda and Shootout at Wadala. Expressing his excitement, he said, “It is my third outing with John and I am super excited to work with Emraan. I have always wanted to work with him. I am back to my base of filmmaking, gangster dramas and all I can say is…Its Good to be Home.”

While the cast and crew seem promising, we have to wait for few months to learn about the development. The movie may go on the floor next month after the complete cast is confirmed and it is expected to hit the theatres next year.
