Joaquin Phoenix starrer Joker has been receiving great response from the critics and the audience, alike. However, the movie has also irked off some people as well regarding the gun violence shown in the movie as the madman goes on a murder spree against society.
During an interview with The Daily Telegraph, Joaquin was asked about the impact that his movie might have in the United States which is already battling gun violence scenarios and was he worried about the same. Instead of answering the question, Joaquin Phoenix reportedly walked out of the interview. However, he eventually got back in the interview.
Helmed by Todd Phillips, Joker tells the origin story of one of the most iconic villains in the DC universe and focuses more on character development. The movie stars Joaquin Phoenix in the titular character along with Zazie Beetz, Robert De Niro, Marc Maron, and Frances Conroy among others in the prominent characters.
