While the actor is gearing up for the release of period sports drama, ’83, in which he is walking in the shoes of former Indian cricket captain, Kapil Dev, first look poster of his upcoming drama was unveiled today.
In the first look poster of Divyang Thakkar directorial, Ranveer Singh can be seen wearing a polka dot polo neck t-shirt tucked inside faded grey jeans. The actor is sporting a left-swept hairstyle as he wore a gold watch to perfect his Gujarati Chokro vibes. In the picture, he can be seen backing a group of veil-covered women as he fights for equal rights for women in the patriarchal society.
Giving an insight into his character in the movie, Ranveer Singh said that Jayeshbhai is an ordinary man who ends up doing something extraordinary when he’s hurled into a threatening situation. “Jayeshbhai is sensitive and compassionate.
