Sanjeeta Bhattacharya, the talented OTT actress and singer known for her appearances in shows like Feels Like Ishq and The Broken News, is set to make her film debut alongside Shah Rukh Khan in the highly anticipated movie Jawan. The opportunity came unexpectedly when she received a call for the film’s audition while she was in Kolkata for a musical concert.
Initially unaware that it was for Jawan, Sanjeeta expressed her excitement upon learning about the incredible lineup of actors involved in the project. She described the feeling of being part of such a grand production as overwhelming and mentioned her belief that the film will be watched by millions, adding to her enthusiasm for the opportunity.
Reflecting on her experience shooting for Jawan, Sanjeeta expressed gratitude for being surrounded by seasoned actors, whom she found herself continuously learning from and growing as an artist. Acting alongside Shah Rukh Khan was a dream come true for Sanjeeta, who never imagined that she would one day have the chance to have coffee, sing, and dance with the iconic actor. She described the experience as living a dream and praised Shah Rukh Khan’s efforts in ensuring everyone’s comfort on set, even personally providing her with a guitar and microphone upon learning about her musical background.
Directed by Atlee Kumar and featuring Vijay Sethupathi, Nayantara, and Sanya Malhotra alongside SRK, Jawan is scheduled for release on September 7 this year, promising an exciting cinematic experience for audiences.
