The oscar-winner American actor is likely to reprise his comic-book based character of Joker in the upcoming highly-anticipated director’s cut of superhero movie Justice League. Jared Leto played the role of Joker in the 2016 DC movie Suicide Squad and if reports are to be believed, he will have a brief role in Jack Snyder’s version of Justice League.

As per reports, Jared Leto is joining the rest of the cast of Justice League this week for additional photography. Although Joaquin Phoenix played the character of Joker in the most recent DC film based on the villain, Jared Leto has been a part of the franchise and is likely to be playing the Joker in Justice League. Jared Leto’s performance as a Joker had received mixed reviews from the DC comic book fans but fans might have a change of mind in the Jack Snyder’s cut.

Justice League released in the year 2017 and failed to live up to the hype of the fans. After years of online protests, the makers decided to release the anticipated Snyder’s cut of the movie. The new version of the movie will be released in a four-part series with a combined runtime of over 214 minutes. “So exciting to be bringing all this new material to the fans — they get to see all these crazy and awesome new sequences, and I think that’s going to be really exciting for everyone,” Zack earlier said.

Starring Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Jason Mamoa, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, and Ray Fisher as the superheroes, Zack Snyder’s Justice League will premiere on HBO Max next year.
