Emraan Hashmi and Randeep Hooda may soon share the screen again, more than a decade after working together in Jannat 2. The actors are reportedly being brought together for an action thriller backed by producer Sajid Nadiadwala.
The project does not have an official title yet. Sajid is said to have recently met Emraan and presented him with a subject designed around the actor’s renewed momentum on the big screen.
The film is expected to feature a sizeable ensemble cast, with Randeep reportedly among the first actors to join Emraan. Randeep has previously worked with Sajid, while his reunion with Emraan is likely to generate interest among fans of Jannat 2.
Released in 2012, Jannat 2 featured Emraan and Randeep in prominent roles. Their performances and contrasting screen presence became an important part of the crime thriller, making their potential reunion a notable development.
The untitled action thriller is expected to begin filming in 2027. The makers are reportedly aiming to release it towards the end of the same year, although an official production schedule and release date have not been announced.
