English actress, radio presenter, model, writer and activist, Jameela Jamil, has been roped in to star in Marvel’s upcoming She-Hulk series. The show created by Jennifer Gao will steam on Disney+. This is Marvel’s latest project in a string of recent releases like WandaVision and Loki.
The show is also set to feature Tatiana Maslany as Jennifer Walters, the cousin of Bruce Banner (The Hulk), who inherits his Hulk powers after she receives a blood transfusion from him. But unlike Bruce, when she hulks out, Jennifer has a firmer grip on her emotions.
Other actors set to star include Mark Ruffalo, who is returning as Bruce Banner aka The Hulk, a role which has become synonymous with him, and Renee Elise Goldsberry among many others.
Jameela Jamil is set to play the role of the antagonist, Titania, a supervillain first introduced to the Marvel-verse in 1984 and was created by Jim Shooter.
