Bollywood’s Khiladi, Akshay Kumar, informed his fans on Sunday that he has contracted the deadly Coronavirus amid the shooting of his next, Ram Setu. Following his announcement, his co-actors Jacqueline Fernandez and Nushrratt Bharuccha immediately went under home isolation to avoid any possibility of spreading the virus. Now according to the latest report, both the actresses have tested negative for COVID-19.
Akshay Kumar, Jacqueline Fernandez and Nushrratt Bharuccha recently went to Ayodhya for the Mahurat shot of their upcoming adventure drama, Ram Setu. During the shoot, it was learnt that the lead actor, Akshay Kumar, has contracted the Coronavirus and the shoot was immediately halted.
Post his test, 45 crew members also tested positive for the virus creating chaos amongst the production. Post which, Nushrratt and Jacqueline isolated themselves at home while awaiting their test results.
Now, according to the entertainment portal Bollywood Hungama, both, Nushrratt and Jacqueline, have tested negative for COVID-19. Nushrratt recently uploaded a screenshot of her con-call with Jacqueline and Akshay and wrote, “Checking up on each other! Far apart but together in spirit.”
Helmed by Abhishek Sharma, Ram Setu features Akshay Kumar in the lead alongside Jacqueline Fernandez and Nushrratt Bharuccha in key roles.
