While the actor was last seen in the award-winning Gully Boy which was also in the race of Oscars, he is awaiting the release of his upcoming sports-drama, ’83, and he recently announces wrap up of his another project.
Ranveer Singh took to his social media handle to announce the completion of his upcoming movie with Yash Raj Films, Jayeshbhai Jordaar. Sharing a quirky picture on his official Instagram account, the Padmavaat actor wrote, “It’s a wrap!!! #JayeshbhaiJordaar Maneesh Sir… from ‘BAND BAAJA BAARAAT’ to ‘JAYESHBHAI JORDAAR’ ? ➡ ?? it’s been an incredible 10 years under your guidance ❤?? With Jayeshbhai Jordaar, Ranveer Singh is also reuniting with producer Maneesh Sharma who launched the actor in Bollywood with the iconic Band Baaja Baraat. Talking about working with Ranveer Singh again and about his much-hyped character in Jayeshbhai Jordaar, the filmmaker said, “Ranveer has given his two hundred percent for the film and it will show when people see the movie. I will stick my neck out to say that Ranveer has delivered his career-best performance with Jayeshbhai Jordaar”
Helmed by debutant director, Divyang, Jayeshbhai Jordaar aims to deliver a social message with a humorous plot set in Gujarat. In the highly-anticipated movie, Ranveer will be portraying a Gujarati Chokro and he earlier unveiled his first look poster which received a positive response from everyone. Starring Ranveer Singh and Arjun Reddy fame Shalini Pandey in the female lead, the movie is expected to hit the theatres in the fourth quarter of 2020.
