Kartik Aaryan took over the mantle forward from Akshay Kumar in the blockbuster horror comedy, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, which was released in 2022. With a positive response from both audience and critics, alike, the makers had announced a third instalment in the horror comedy franchise. With Kartik Aaryan reprising the lead role, the movie has completed filming and is scheduled for a Diwali 2024 release, adding to the festive excitement.
Taking to his social media handle, Kartik Aaryan announced the completion of the movie’s shooting with a live video featuring the cast and crew of the upcoming thriller. “It’s a wrap for #BhoolBhulaiyaa3. The haveli’s doors are ready to open once again. See you this Diwali,” he shared.
While the second instalment in the franchise featured the fresh pairing of Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani, the makers have brought Animal famed Triptii Dimri and the original cast member from the first instalment, Vidya Balan, to the third instalment, adding to the excitement amongst the fans.
Apart from Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, Kartik Aaryan was last seen in the sports drama, Chandu Champion, and received critical acclaim for his performance. The actor also received the Rising Global Superstar of Indian Cinema award at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne.
