While the pandemic-induced nationwide lockdown had left everyone stuck at home with little to no work, the majority of the Indian celebrities saw the unfortunate as an opportunity to try their hands on new skills and kept themselves busy with a healthy lifestyle. Meanwhile, the handsome hunks of the Indian entertainment industry decided to undergo a task which requires the utmost dedication and patience. From the Kabir Singh aka Shahid Kapoor to Arjun Reddy aka Vijay Deverakonda, almost every A-lister tried growing their hair out and some mastered their new look.

The Love Aaj Kal actor was vocal about his hairy experiment since the very beginning of the lockdown and he started growing out his beard. While Koki bid adieu to his ‘jungli’ beard in May, he started growing out his hair and we are nothing but amazed with his new avatar.

Varun Dhawan entered the lockdown in March after wrapping up the shooting of his upcoming comedy-drama, Coolie No. 1, and let his hair grow loose until he managed to pull up a top knot look for his post-workout selfies.

The Telugu actor Vijay Deverakonda aka Arjun Reddy is an exception here as he started growing out his hair way before the COVID-19 came into existence. However, the actor kept growing his hair throughout the lockdown and almost doubled the length of his lustrous locks as he got back to work.

The Punjabi Munda, Ayushmann Khurrana, underwent an extreme physical transformation for his next, Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui, during his lockdown but the transformation wasn’t limited to his chiselled abs. Ayushmann grew out his hair to play his character which is a cross-functional athlete and kept his sides tight faded with a ponytail at the back.

5. Shah Rukh Khan

While Shah Rukh Khan is known as the ‘King of Bollywood’, it wouldn’t be incorrect to call him the king of full head of hair. The Zero actor can be seen running his fingers through his lustrous silky hair and the actor has been growing out his hair during the lockdown for his upcoming movie, Pathan, which breaks his years-long self-imposed sabbatical.
