Saif Ali Khan’s elder son Ibrahim Ali Khan has been a popular social media personality even before his launch in the entertainment world and the 20-year-old has been looking forward to his ambitious entry in Bollywood. While the speculations suggest that Ibrahim will be making his commercial acting debut with Zoya Akhtar’s Netflix series, he will be assisting filmmaker Karan Johar for the Bollywood love story, Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani.
Featuring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt in the leads, Karan Johar will be donning his director’s hat after long and the movie went on the floors on Friday. Both the actors took to their social media handle to share a short behind-the-scenes video with their fans as they commenced filming for the touted unique love story. While Karan will be helming the project, Ibrahim will be assisting him as he is eager to learn more about filmmaking and what goes into making a big banner Bollywood movie. There is also a probability to see a cameo of Ibrahim in the movie.
Apart from assisting Karan Johar, Ibrahim is also rumoured to be playing the lead in the Indian adaption of the popular comic series, Archie, for Netflix. Filmmaker Zoya Akhtar has been reportedly roped in to helm the project and if reports are to be believed, she is likely to launch Suhana Khan and Khushi Kapoor as female leads. The sources further suggest that Ibrahim might be cast as Archie in the upcoming Netflix series.
