Any Aspiring actor would know how important it is for them to come across big, genuine, and legitimate casting opportunities for big production houses and directors. In this digital era, it has become quite difficult to know what’s real and what’s fake. One such incident has recently come into the limelight about the very famous “Sacred Games” franchise.
Director Anurag Kashyap took to social media to highlight a bogus casting fraud by an account on Instagram claiming to hold auditions for his directorial, Sacred Games 3, and shared that there is no season 3 in the development for sacred games.
Kashyap shared a screenshot of that Instagram story put by the fraudulent account “rajbeer_casting” and wrote, “This man rajbeer_casting is a scamster. Pls report him. There is no season 3 of Scared games happening. I am filing an FIR against this person,”
The story shared by the casting scamster required female actresses of different ages and added that the actors were required to be comfortable to do “Bold Scenes”. The story read, “Hello All Finally the Opportunity has come Casting for Sacred Games 3 Netflix Series Direct – Anurag Kashyap Female 20 -27 years To play lead Role Must be ok with bold scenes Female 20 -28 years Second lead to play dancer Must be ok with bold scenes Female 30 – 40 yeas To play village aunt Must be ok with bold scenes Female 50+ years to play villain Must be ok with bold scenes Male 20-28 years to play agent Make-up Artist Fashion stylist Shoot in Mumbai Shoot dates to be announced soon.”
Nawazuddin Siddiqui, who starred in the show as “Ganesh Gaitonde” had previously revealed that there is not going to be a season 3 of the series.
The famous Netflix series has Saif Ali Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the lead roles. The first season was directed by Anurag Kashyap with Vikramaditya Moteane whereas the second season was helmed by Kashyap alongside “Masaan” director Neeraj Ghaywan.
