One of the most exciting remake announcements came early this year with Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan going against in the action thriller, Vikram Vedha, and fans have been ever since waiting to witness them pitted against each other. The movie went on the floors recently and Hrithik started filming for the project last month. The latest development is that Hrithik has called it a wrap for the first schedule of the movie.

The makers started filming the first schedule of the movie in Abu Dhabi with Hrithik Roshan and the team will now travel to Lucknow to start filming with Saif Ali Khan. The movie will feature the two in the key roles with Radhika Apte playing the female lead. The Hindi remake of the popular Tamil-language neo-noir action thriller is being helmed by the original directors’ duo – Pushkar and Gayatri.

The superhit iconic movie is based on the popular Indian folktale Vikram Aur Betaal and tells the story of a police officer who goes to track a dreadful gangster. The original Tamil blockbuster starred R. Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi in the lead roles.
