Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR are set to face off in a high-energy dance battle in War 2, which is currently being filmed at Yash Raj Studios under Ayan Mukerji’s direction. This intense sequence, conceived by producer Aditya Chopra, will see Hrithik’s R&AW agent Kabir Dhaliwal infiltrate the hideout of Jr NTR’s antagonist, where their rivalry unfolds first through dance before escalating into a fight. Kiara Advani is also part of the scene, adding to the excitement.
The idea for this electrifying dance-off was conceived by producer Aditya Chopra, who wanted to blend the film’s sleek action sequences with a visually stunning musical moment. Both actors, known for their exceptional dancing skills, have undergone 15 days of separate rehearsals to keep their on-screen face-off organic.
Choreographed by Bosco Martis and set to a high-energy track by Pritam, the sequence will feature over 500 background dancers on an elaborate set designed by Amrita Mahal Nakai. The filmmakers are taking extreme security measures, banning phones on set and issuing special badges to crew members to prevent leaks.
As the latest addition to Yash Raj Films’ Spy Universe, War 2 follows the massive success of War, Pathaan, and Tiger Zinda Hai, with the franchise grossing nearly ₹2900 crore so far. With Jr NTR and Kiara Advani joining the cast, expectations are sky-high. The film is nearing the end of production, with the dance sequence scheduled to wrap by March 10. War 2 is set to hit theaters on August 14, 2025, promising an electrifying cinematic experience.
