Ever since Farah Khan and Rohit Shetty announced to join hands for the remake of super hit film of Amitabh Bachchan, Satte Pe Satta, speculations started doing rounds that Shah Rukh Khan and Akshay Kumar have been approached to play the character of Amitabh Bachchan in the movie. According to the latest report published in the leading entertainment portal, Pinkvilla, Hrithik Roshan has been finalised for the movie.

Farah Khan has been adapting the comedy story of seven brothers for the modern day lately and according to the report, she discussed the idea with Hrithik Roshan who nodded for the project after he learnt about the project. The source also mentioned that the makers were looking for an established actor in their 40s. Therefore, the idea of casting Shah Rukh Khan or Akshay Kumar was not supported and were mere rumours produced by the gossip mills.

The movie will be produced under the production banner of Rohit Shetty and Farah Khan will helm the movie behind the director’s chair. The female lead for the movie hasn’t been finalized yet. However, the rumours suggest that Katrina Kaif has been approached for the same. The film is expected to go on the floors earlier next year.
