Choreographer Bosco Martis, known for his work on the songs ‘Sher Khul Gaye’ and ‘Ishq Jaisa Kuch’ in the Hrithik Roshan – Deepika Padukone starrer Fighter, expressed disappointment in an Instagram post for not receiving proper credit in the online releases of the songs. In his post, he highlighted the lack of recognition for choreographers who play a crucial role in making actors and the nation dance. Hrithik Roshan, upon learning of the issue, took swift action and ensured that credits were added after discussing the matter with director Siddharth Anand on December 29.
As per a Mid-Day report, a source revealed that Hrithik, being a superstar known for his dancing skills, was uneasy with the choreographer not receiving the acknowledgement he deserved. By Friday afternoon, the YouTube version of the song had been updated to include the complete credit list, featuring choreographers Bosco-Caesar, Remo D’Souza, and Piyush-Shazia. Hrithik has reportedly instructed his team to be vigilant about giving due credit to choreographers in his future projects, emphasizing the importance of recognition.
Scheduled for release on January 25, 2024, on the eve of India’s 75th Republic Day, Fighter boasts a star-studded cast, including Deepika Padukone, Anil Kapoor, Karan Singh Grover, Akshay Oberoi, Sanjeeda Shaikh, Mahesh Shetty, and Talat Aziz. The film is anticipated to make a significant impact with its ensemble of talented actors and compelling storyline.
