Hollywood action star Sylvestor Stallone is all set to get into the shoes of his ‘Rambo’ movie character ‘John Rambo’, a troubled Vietnam war veteran and Ex US Army Special forces soldier. The actor posted about the commencement of the shoot on his Instagram post recently.
Based on David Morrell’s novel ‘First Blood’, the franchise started in the year 1982 and shall come to an end with its upcoming fifth installment. The last installment that was directed by Stallone, released in the year 2008. Now after a decade and many delays, the film has yet again gone on floors.
Produced by Avi Lerner and Kevin King Templeton, ‘Rambo 5’ will be written by Matt Cirulnick and co-written by Stallone. The actor won’t be directing the movie this time, the one helming the reins of this movie would be Adrian Grunberg.
The film is set for a Fall 2019 release, however, the exact date hasn’t been finalized yet. ‘Rambo 5’ will see the war veteran combat Mexican drug mafias this time.
The ‘Rocky’ star will soon be seen in Michael B Jordan starrer ‘Creed 2’, sequel to 2015 sports drama ‘Creed’, releasing on 21st November 2018, where in he will be seen playing his famous Boxing Champion character Rocky Balboa.
