Television and Bollywood actor, Himansh Kohli, took to his social media handle to announce that his family has been tested positive for the novel Coronavirus after having mild viral infection symptoms. However, the actor informed that he has been tested negative for COVID-19 but following home isolation for precautionary measures.
The Yaariyan actor posted a short statement on his Instagram handle which reads, “Since the last 2-3 days, mom, dad and my sister, Disha were having symptoms of viral infection including mild fever. Recently, we all got ourselves tested for Novel Coronavirus – mom, dad and Disha have tested positive with mild Covid-19 infection, and I have tested negative.” The actor thanked the government authorities for help and advice.
While the actor has been tested negative for the viral disease, he along with his family are under home quarantine as per the precautionary protocol and his family is getting the required treatment at home. The actor further wrote in the caption that he is taking care of himself and his family and urged everyone to take all precautions with a sane mind. The actor also appreciated the efforts of the healthcare workers and wrote, “Hats off to all the people working hard to make sure we all are safe. I hope we come out of it and recover very soon.”
