Touted to be one of the very first Hollywood movie with a cast and team consisting of maximum Asian American artists, ‘Crazy Rich Asians’ directed by Jon M. Chu that was released on August 15 in US,  has been a first in ages to make it so big and to have a global impact.

The Indian fans were highly disappointed when the movie based on Kewin Kwan’s 2013 novel with the same title as the movie’s, was announced to be not released in India which is a huge part of Asian community by  Warner Bros. India on their twitter handle. Later on the Indian release date was confirmed by Warner Bros. India to be 21st September.

However, the romantic comedy Asian American blockbuster movie of the year, starring Henry Golding and Constance Wu in leading roles, Gemma Chan, Awkwafina, Nico Santos, Lisa Lu, Ken Jeong and Michelle Yeoh in other pivotal character roles, is now pushed to a later date and set to release in Indian theaters on 5th October.
