Harshvardhan Rane, who is currently riding high on the success of his action-romance hit Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat, has officially come on board for Force 3, the next instalment of one of Bollywood’s most popular action franchises. The actor shared the news with fans through a heartfelt social media post, confirming that he will be taking the legacy forward under John Abraham’s guidance.
On Instagram, Harshvardhan posted a picture of himself at Maharashtra’s Trimbakeshwar Temple, dressed in traditional attire while offering prayers. Alongside the photo, he wrote, “John Abraham locks Harshvardhan Rane for taking FORCE franchise forward, under him,” officially confirming his involvement in the film.
Expressing his gratitude, the actor added, “All I can do at this moment is thank this angel of a man called John sir, while I look upwards and thank whoever is doing this from up there. Can’t wait to begin shoot in March 2026. (No other details till I begin the shoot.)”
The Force franchise began in 2011 with the late Nishikant Kamat’s directorial Force, starring John Abraham and Genelia D’Souza. It earned praise for its gritty action and emotional storytelling. The sequel, Force 2 (2016), directed by Abhinay Deo, saw John return alongside Sonakshi Sinha in an espionage thriller that expanded the universe further.
With Force 3, the series enters a new phase as Harshvardhan Rane takes the lead. While the storyline is still under wraps, fans can expect the same blend of hard-hitting action and intense drama that defined the earlier films.
Harshvardhan, whose romantic drama Sanam Teri Kasam found renewed popularity after its re-release, has been on a strong career streak. His recent film Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat continues to perform well at the box office, and he is next set to appear in Silaa, a fantasy romance action drama co-starring Sadia Khateeb and Karan Veer Mehra.
With Force 3 set to begin filming in March 2026, audiences can look forward to a fresh chapter in the blockbuster franchise, led by one of Bollywood’s most promising action stars.
