Comicbook based superhero character Wolverine has always been one of the most popular and loved fictional characters ever produced and its live-action depiction by American actor Hugh Jackman is just equally loved by the fans. However, ever since the actor bid adieu to the superhuman character with the last run in 2017’s Logan, fans have been demanding a new Wolverine movie.

While the portrayal of Logan aka Wolverine by Hugh Jackman is memorable and legendary, the fans have lost hope of seeing him again in action. However, they have been requesting to reprise the character and bring in a new actor to play the part. For the last many years, Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe has been the top contender by the fans to walk in the shoes of Logan in the live-action franchise.

Daniel has been rumoured to play the character not once but many times and even the actor has been quoted as being fed up with refuting the rumours. In a recent interview where Daniel Radcliffe was promoting his upcoming movie with co-actor Sandra Bullock, the popular Wolverine casting rumour came into discussion and Sandra just asked the makers to cast Daniel as the new Wolverine. “Wolverine people, can you please just f*cking cast him. Just do it. Stop tiptoeing around and having people ask at press junkets. Just cast the man,” she said.

Now that the character is owned by Disney, it has been rumoured that the producers are actually working on a potential entry of the character in the ever-growing Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, who will play the part remains a mystery for now.
