Television and Bollywood actor, Gurmeet Choudhary, has been actively helping the people in the need of the hour through his social media handles and yesterday, he launched a makeshift hospital in Nagpur to fight Covid. Nagpur is one of the worst-hit cities of India in the second wave of Coronavirus and patients who require immediate medical attention are struggling with the limited medical resources.
In an attempt to make a small change, Gurmeet flew to Nagpur to launch the makeshift hospital – Astha Dedicated Covid Hospital in collaboration with Dr Sayyed Wajahatali. Sharing the same on his social media handle, Gurmeet wrote, “I am happy to announce the launch of a dedicated makeshift COVID care hospital in Nagpur in collaboration with Dr. Sayyed Wajahatali and team. Astha Dedicated Covid Hospital is located in H.B Town, Pardi, Nagpur, and works for the welfare of Covid victims. I believe that we need more centers to help people in & around Nagpur so please do reach out to us for any help that is required.”

The actor urged to reach out to his team for any help related to the pandemic and he believes that one makeshift hospital is not enough in the current crisis.
