The reboot of the classic daily soap Kasautii Zindagii Kay has been hitting the right chords ever since the show aired on the Indian television. While Erica Fernandez and Parth Samthaan have been entertaining the audiences with their amazing on-screen chemistry, the antagonist Komolika played a crucial role in the storyline.
While Hina Khan had been nailing the character and became the crowd favourite, the actress took a break from the show to complete her other commitments and looks like she is not coming back. Meanwhile, there has been a hunt going on by the makers of the show to replace Hina Khan and the latest reports suggest that Gauhar Khan has been approached to play the part.
As per the source, the makers of Kasautii Zindagii Kay are keen on getting Gauhar Khan on board as the new face of Komolika and she has given the look test as well. However, she is yet to sign the dotted line as she has other work commitments including a web series in her kitty.
Meanwhile, the Ekta Kapoor’s show has been performing decently on the TRP charts following the entry of Karan Singh Grover as Mr Bajaj and the separation of Anurag and Prerna.
