Fast and Furious franchise has always been high on action and after the announcement of the tenth instalment of the movie, everyone is expecting some never before seen action sequences. While the stakes are high for Fast and Furious 9, makers have been trying to set a new benchmark but it didn’t go well with a stuntman.
According to the information, Joe Watts, who is a stuntman in the upcoming Fast and Furious 9 film, met with an unfortunate accident on Monday. During the shooting of an intense action sequence, Joe Watts had severe head injuries after a fall at the Warner Bros Studio in Hertfordshire, UK.
The injured stuntman was immediately taken to a hospital through an air ambulance and his fiance confirmed that Joe is stable but in an induced coma. Meanwhile, Universal Studios had confirmed that the production of the actioner was halted to focus on the unfortunate accident.
The shooting for Fast and Furious 9 started last month and is scheduled for a May release. The movie is helmed by Justin Lin and most of the central cast are reprising their characters with a few new additions.
