You may have assumed that fashion on popular social media handles such as Instagram is just for millennials. Think one more, because recently the internet has been overwhelming for there comes a generation of “mature” individuals and couples in their seventies and eighties who are all the rage on Twitter and Instagram. They are most definitely proving that when it comes to fashion, age is just a number.

One such that we know of is Mr and Mrs Verma, a couple setting major fashion goals while breaking the stereotype. While Mrs Verma is 76, her husband is 82. The elderly citizens were taught by their granddaughter, Jonita Verma how to get the hang of social media in order to keep themselves and their fan followers entertained.

They keep everyone posted with quirky dance reels and cracking the code while walking the runway in their backyard. Besides they are enacting upon any latest reel trend as well.

Mrs Verma, in particular, who is seventy-six can be trying out many looks from street chic, grunge and even contemporary fusion styles. She is reinventing saree and pairing them with belts and jeans like any millennial right now. The couple truly believes that age is not a barrier when it comes to being fun and fashionable and is on their way to slay and spread smiles, making the most out of their seventies. They are keeping up with dance routines, fashion shows, curated content created through videos and reels.

And they are not the only ones. Seems like they are following in the footsteps of Helen / Miss Baddie who has over 3.5 million followers. Helen is a popular social media influencer and is often seen trying out beauty and fashion looks meant for the bold hearted.

And those, looking for serious fashion inspiration, should turn their heads towards Iris Apfel. She is a strong believer in the “More is more & less is a bore”, school of thoughts. Apfel is acing style diva worth her salt.
