Excel Entertainment, the powerhouse behind hits like the KGF franchise, is once again in the spotlight with its upcoming war drama 120 Bahadur. Headlined by Farhan Akhtar, the film is already generating buzz and is scheduled to hit theatres on 21st November 2025.
Sources close to the production reveal that the teaser is expected to drop in the first week of August, and the launch is being planned as a grand event in Mumbai. Set against the backdrop of the Indian Army, 120 Bahadur promises to deliver a gripping cinematic experience, with high-octane action scenes choreographed by an international crew.
Farhan Akhtar takes on the powerful role of Param Vir Chakra awardee Major Shaitan Singh Bhati, marking a return to the patriotic genre after Lakshya. Known for his intense prep and dedication to biographical roles, Farhan is said to be in a completely new avatar for this film, which he considers a milestone in his career.
The teaser is set to debut in cinemas on 14th August 2025, paired with the much-awaited release of War 2, starring Hrithik Roshan and NTR. This strategic timing is expected to give 120 Bahadur wide exposure ahead of its release.
Currently in the final stages of post-production, the team at Excel Entertainment is working full throttle on editing, VFX, and sound design to ensure a top-notch viewing experience. The film is directed by Razneesh “Razy” Ghai and produced by Ritesh Sidhwani, Farhan Akhtar, and Amit Chandrra under the Excel Entertainment and Trigger Happy Studios banners.
Meanwhile, Farhan is also gearing up to return behind the camera for Don 3, with Ranveer Singh and Kriti Sanon leading the cast. The film is expected to begin shooting in January 2026, and casting for a major antagonist is currently underway.
120 Bahadur promises to be one of the biggest theatrical events of the year, blending real-life heroism with large-scale cinematic action.
