Indian actor Emraan Hashmi has come a long way in his career and is currently busy filming back-to-back exciting projects for production houses like Yash Raj Films and Dharma Productions. Meanwhile, a report published by Peeping Moon reveals that the actor is in talks with Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani’s Excel Entertainment for an exciting project.
As per the early reports, Emraan Hashmi has given his nod for a movie project tentatively titled Ground Zero, in which he will be portraying the character of an army officer for the first time in his career. The reports claim that the movie will revolve around the sensitive situation in Kashmir and the efforts of an army officer sent on a deadly mission to handle the situation.
Marathi filmmaker Tejas Vijay Deoskar has been reportedly approached to direct the keenly anticipated military drama while the rest of the cast and crew are being worked upon. However, there has been no confirmation about Emraan Hashmi’s involvement in the project by the production house or the actor himself.
Meanwhile, Emraan will next be seen with Akshay Kumar in the comedy-drama titled Selfiee which is slated to hit the big screens in February 2023. He will also be playing an antagonist in the much-popular Tiger franchise featuring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif as the lead pair.
