Emraan Hashmi has shared a nostalgic memory from his early Bollywood days, reflecting on the moment he earned his first significant paycheck. In a conversation with podcaster Ranveer Allahabadia, the actor revealed that his fourth film brought him a payment of 25 lakh rupees, a figure he had set as his goal for one specific reason: buying his dream car, a Honda Accord.
Recalling the moment with humour, Hashmi said, “I got 25 lakh rupees and that was my fourth film. I did that film because I wanted to buy my Honda Accord. I bought it, and then I banged the car the first time I sat in it. I went to pick up my then girlfriend, now wife.” Laughing about the incident, he added, “I believe that once you scratch a new car for the first time, then you can finally start enjoying it.”
Years later, Hashmi’s love for cars has grown far beyond his modest first purchase. Today, he owns one of the most enviable collections in the country. After the success of Tiger 3, the actor grabbed headlines by buying the most expensive Rolls-Royce in India, priced at 12.25 crore rupees. He also recently added a Range Rover LWB Autobiography to his garage.
Professionally, Emraan Hashmi is currently seen in Haq alongside Yami Gautam Dhar. The film, which released on November 7, 2025, has received positive reviews. The actor has a packed lineup ahead, including the much-anticipated Awarapan 2 and the ambitious spy thriller Goodachari 2, signalling that his journey in cinema and his passion for cars are both racing ahead at full speed.
