Just yesterday, renowned television actor Parth Samthaan announced that he has been tested positive for the novel Coronavirus. While the actor is having mild symptoms, he has been self-quarantined with guidance from doctors and BMC. Taking to social media, producer Ekta Kapoor poured in wishes for the actor of her television drama, Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2.
Parth Samthaan who plays a prominent character in Ekta Kapoor’s daily soap, Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2, took to his social media handle to inform his fans that he has contracted the deadly virus. The actor requested people who got in his close proximity to get tested as he wrote, “Hi everyone , I have been tested Postive for covid 19 .although I have mild symptoms.. I would urge and request everyone whose been with me in close promitixy over the last few days please go and get yourself tested . The Bmc has regularly been in touch and with the doctors guidance I am in self quarantine and I am grateful to them for all their support . Please be safe and take care.”
Soon after Parth Samthaan was tested positive for the novel Coronavirus, Balaji Production halted its shooting for the show. Meanwhile, producer Ekta Kapoor took to her social media handle to release a promo video of an upcoming Alt Balaji digital series and wish a speedy recovery to her ‘hero’ Parth Samthaan. “Get well soon Parth! @the_parthsamthaan ‘Kasauti…’ is waiting for its ‘Hero’,” she wrote.

While Parth Samthaan is undergoing his treatment with guidance from the authorities, his co-actors, Karan Patel and Pooja Banerjee have undergone testing for COVID-19 and awaiting results.
