The sequel of Warner Bros. and J K Rowling’s Wizarding World ‘Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes Of Grindewald’ is all set to hit the screens this November 16 and the final trailer of which was released recently where in Eddie Redmayne’s Newt Scamander and Johnny Depp’s Grindelwald battle it out and a surprise character is also revealed.
The first installment of ‘Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them?’ released in 2016 was centred around ‘Newt Scamander’ character that wasn’t present in any of the Harry Potter books or films, but makes a brief appearance in ‘Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s stone’ as the author of ‘Fantastic Beasts..’ book which is part of first year’s curriculum.
The first part of the 5 series movie ends with Grindlewald being captured with the help of Newt by the ‘Magical Congress of the United States of America’, but manages to escape and is out about to pull in followers to raise in pure blood wizards.
In the recent trailer its seen that Dumbledore gives Newt a key to a safe house in Paris in case of trouble and tells him that its only him who can stop Grindlewald, not him. Its a known fact that Dumbledore and Grindlewald shared a romantic relationship, however, if one goes by both the trailers that have been released not much seems to be explored on that arc. The menacing and terrorising Grindlewald is all set to take over and destroy the ones who refuse to join his dark wizards group. And we also have a major character reveal in the trailer, that of Nagini played by Claudia Kim, Tom Riddle a.k.a Voldemort’s snake pet take its human form.
Directed by David Yates , the movie stars Jude Law (Albus Dumbledore), Eddie Redmayne (Newt Scamander), Johnny Depp (Gellert Grindelwald), Katherine Waterson (Tina Goldstein), Dan Fogler (Jacob Kowalski), Alison Sudol (Queenie Goldstein), Ezra Miller (Credence Barebone), Zoe Kravitz (Leta Lestrange), Callum Turner (Theseus Sacmander), Claudia Kim (Nagini) in pivotal characters.
