However, the international singer-songwriter is on ‘cloud nine’ with his wife Cherry Seaborn as they welcome their daughter home. Ed Sheeran ceased his social media absence with a heartfelt announcement of his baby girl and her name.
Ed Sheeran and wife Cheery Seaborn had kept the details of pregnancy under tight wraps for months until the singer recently announced that they were expecting. Just today, Ed Sheeran took to his Instagram account to share the name of his daughter with his fans and wrote, “Ello! A quick message from me as I have some personal news that I wanted to share with you… Last week, with the help of an amazing delivery team, Cherry gave birth to our beautiful and healthy daughter – Lyra Antarctica Seaborn Sheeran.”
The hitmaker shared a cute picture of a pair of baby socks and the note further read, “We are completely in love with her. Both mum and baby are doing amazing and we are on cloud nine over here. We hope that you can respect our privacy at this time. Lots of love and I’ll see you when it’s time to come back, Ed x (sic).” The couple has named their newborn daughter Lyra Antarctica Seaborn Sheeran.
