Beauty mogul Kylie Jenner had been undisputed at the social media network, Instagram, for years and became the youngest self-made billionaire to date. While the celeb enjoys 185m followers on her Instagram account, she has been dethroned by the wrestler and actor, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson as the highest-paid Instagram celebrity in 2020.
Hopper HQ recently released its annual list of Instagram’s richest celebrities for the year 2020 which features 100 social media influencers from around the globe. The list also reveals the actual earnings of these celebrities via Instagram posting. While Kylie Jenner was the highest-paid Instagram celebrity last year, The Rock has outnumbered her with 190m followers count and turns out to be the most profitable social media influencer till date.
According to the Instagram Rich List 2020, former wrestler Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson banks USD 1,015,000 a post leaving behind Kylie with USD 986,000 a post. The Portuguese footballer Christiano Ronaldo, despite having more followers on his Instagram account than Rock and Kylie, is placed at the third position. Ronaldo cashes in USD 889,000 with 230m followers in his account followed by Kim Kardashian with USD 850,000 a post.
From India, only Indian cricket team skipper Virat Kohli and Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra made it to the list for the year.
