The multi-crore actioner Baahubali series stirred a revolution in Indian VFX and raised the bar to go on par with Hollywood likes. The franchise received critical acclaim across the world and skyrocketed earnings at the Indian and international box office. While the sequel hit the theatres in the year 2017, the legend lives on.
Scott Derrickson, director of the Hollywood superhero movie Doctor Strange, is awestruck by the fascinating action sequence from the second instalment of the Baahubali series as he took to Twitter to express his amazement. Scott Derrickson shared a minute-long clip originally shared by another user and captioned, “Behold, India’s Baahubali 2! (sic)”.

While the scene is definitely captivating, it is nothing seen before in the Indian or international film industries.
On the work front, Scott Derrickson joins the crew of Marvel to direct the second instalment of Doctor Strange franchise, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
