Actress Divyanka Tripathi is presently shooting in Cape Town for the stunt-based reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi season 11. The actress reveals how tough it was for her to leave her husband, actor Vivek Dahiya, at home.

The actress opens up about her relationship and says that this is the first time, that the couple will be apart for so long since their marriage in July 2016. She says that “ This is the first time after our marriage that I am leaving Vivek alone for so many days. “ The couple got quite emotional and since the last week, have been preparing themselves for the day she will leave for Cape Town. She tells how leaving him all on his own for so long makes her very sad.

Additionally, the actress informs that the family members of all the other contestants have also been reluctant to let them leave the country amidst the pandemic because it’s quite a bad situation.
She tells that during the COVID-19 pandemic, it’s tough for their family members to let them be apart from them. She believes that this courage to compromise at such a stressful time is what makes them the biggest ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’ as they as letting the contestants go in this phase.

However, she feels overjoyed as well at being given an opportunity to engage in something adventurous after so long.
She says that she is excited about doing something that was pending for a long time. Before arriving in Mumbai, she would get many opportunities to participate in adventurous activity. Since then she has just been working for the last 15 years. She says that she hasn’t touched this aspect of her personality for a while and this is indeed a long-awaited opportunity for her. She also tells how she used to participate in a lot of camps while growing up and would stay outside home in 10-day or 50 day-camps, which got her into a habit of staying alone.

Commenting on Covid, Divyanka believes that it is a tough time for the industry, but it is not limited to just the acting industry and every profession, is going through a tough time.

She tells that as actors, they are used to this pattern. When actors are working, they do it rigorously and work for extended hours and schedules are erratic. But when they don’t have work, they work upon themselves and that’s exactly what they have been doing. Everyone in the industry is taking care of her/himself and their families, all while trying to stay safe, healthy both mentally and physically.
