Disney’s ‘Mary Poppins Returns’ is all set to hit the road of Indian Theatres on January 4, 2019. The sequel of Disney’s most beloved movie Mary Poppins is once again set to cast spell on the audiences. This time with Emily Blunt, who flawlessly fits herself into the shoes of Julie Andrews as the Prim and the nanny with unique magical skills.
The film, made under the direction of ‘Chicago’ famed film maker Rob Marshall, is based in the Depression Era of London 1930.
The musically intact movie illustrates the re-entry of a magical nanny into the life of crestfallen Banks family along with lamplighter Jack, who helps them rediscover the missing element of happiness in their lives.
Marry Poppins is said to be one of the very first films director Marshall ever saw as a child. It introduced him to the world of movies, adventure, fantasy and musicals. The song by Shaiman and the lyrics of Scott Whittman made the movie equally significant and a cult classic.
