The revenge thriller, Ek Villain, starring Sidharth Malhotra, Shraddha Kapoor and Riteish Deshmukh had set the cash registers running at the box office and after 7 years of its release, the makers have started filming its sequel with a completely new cast. With actors like John Abraham, Arjun Kapoor, Disha Patani, and Tara Sutaria playing the key roles, the movie went on the floors last month and Disha joined the team on Monday.
Announcing filming Ek Villain 2, Disha Patani took to her social media handle to share a picture of her in the movie’s merchandise black hoodie. She wrote, “And here we go #EkVillainReturns” as she tagged the entire cast and crew of the project.

Disha Patani last appeared in the action thriller, Malang, and her dark-gritty avatar was well-received by the audience with Aditya Roy Kapoor in the male lead. While she will next be seen in the Salman Khan starrer cop-drama, Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai, the Mohit Suri directorial is expected to revisit her dark side.
