Comedy franchise king Anees Bazmee and Bhushan Kumar have roped in the new hot favorites of Bollywood, Disha Patani and Kartik Aaryan for their upcoming untitled romantic comedy.

Kartik who gained popularity for his infamous ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama’ monologue, hit a jackpot with his 2018 blockbuster hit ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’, one of the highest grossing movies of the year. The actor is gearing up for his small town based romcom ‘Luka Chuppi’ with Kriti Sanon on March 1.

Disha who made a remarkable debut with MS Dhoni  in 2016, continued to give another blockbuster hit with 2017’s Baaghi 2 along side rumored boyfriend Tiger Shroff. Her upcoming 2019 flick Bharat starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif, where she plays a Trapeze artist  is eagerly awaited.

Both Kartik and Disha are currently the most popular and highly demanded stars, who are being loaded with some amazing big banner projects in their kitty.

The movie will mark Disha and Kartik’s first romantic comedy Anees Bazmee style, who is known for his over the top, rib tickling comedy with movies like the Welcome franchise.

The story of this upcoming romcom will be in a light hearted, fun and colorful college set up where Disha and Kartik will play the students.  The movie goes on floors by the mid of 2019.
