Actor, singer, songwriter, television presenter Diljit Dosanjh now turns film producer as he launches his production company, Story Time Productions, and commences the filming of his very first film as a producer, Honsla Rakh, in Vancouver, Canada.
Honsla Rakh is a Punjabi-language feature film featuring Diljit Dosanjh, alongside Sonam Bajwa and Shehnaaz Gill in the pivotal characters. The movie also marks the debut of Bigg Boss contestant Shehnaaz Gill and Shinda Grewal, son of Punjabi actor-singer, Gippy Grewal.
Diljit Dosanjh also took to his social media handles to make the movie announcement and shared the first look poster of the movie with illustrations of Diljit and a child on his back. The post captioned, “This Dusshera #HonslaRakh, 15th Oct, 2021!!”.

Produced by Diljit Dosanjh and Diljit Thind and helmed by Amarjit Singh Saron, the movie is a fun comedy-romance drama. The story is penned down by Rakesh Dhawan and Baljit Singh Deo is cinematographing the project. The movie is slated for a worldwide release on the occasion of Dussehra, 15th October 2021.
