Speculations about Diljit Dosanjh walking out of No Entry 2 have finally been put to rest. Producer Boney Kapoor has confirmed that the actor-singer will no longer be part of the eagerly awaited sequel.
Clearing the air on the rumours, Kapoor explained that the decision was purely due to scheduling conflicts. “Yes, we have parted in good spirits as the dates were not aligning with our requirements; hopefully, we will soon do a Punjabi film together,” he shared in an interview.
Diljit was earlier announced as one of the three leads alongside Varun Dhawan and Arjun Kapoor. However, his packed calendar made it impossible to lock down dates for the film. The singer-actor is gearing up for his Aura Tour across Australia and New Zealand from October 26 to November 13, 2025, while also managing multiple film projects. This left little room for him to commit to No Entry 2.
A source close to the project revealed that the sequel requires extensive planning and coordination, which clashed with Diljit’s tour schedule. As a result, both parties mutually agreed to part ways without any friction.
Meanwhile, the Punjabi superstar continues to balance his music and acting career. He has already wrapped up his role in Border 2, co-starring Varun Dhawan, Ahan Shetty, and Sunny Deol, which is slated to hit theatres on January 26, 2026.
