With Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah being the most loved sitcom ever of Hindi television, Dilip Joshi is commonly known as his on-screen character, Jethalal. While the show has been entertaining one and all for more than a decade, Dilip Joshi has become a household name. However, the actor is also known for his versatility and been a part of numerous television shows as well as Bollywood movies.

Dilip Joshi recently walked through his memory lane and took to his social media handle to share his experience of playing his first leading character in the show, Zara Jhatke. The actor shared pictures of him with his co-actor in the show and musician Lucky Ali with the caption, “This was the first time I was entrusted with the responsibility of leading a show along with this fine gentleman. He wasn’t the only one. I also consider myself ‘Lucky’ for having worked with him back then, and having had the good fortune of listening to his songs on the set, long before they became the stuff of legend!”

Zara Jhatke aired on Zee TV in the year 1994 and turned out to be a great stepping stone in his acting career. While he played the lead in the show, he also shared screen space with the musician-actor Lucky Ali and considers himself ‘lucky’ to be able to hear his compositions before anyone else.

While Dilip Joshi enjoys a humongous fan following, he became a part of the social media platform, Instagram, only a couple months ago.
