Shahid Kapoor fans were treated to a thrilling surprise as the much-anticipated trailer of his upcoming action-packed film Deva was unveiled on January 17. Following a gripping teaser and an adrenaline-pumping song, the trailer offers a glimpse into an intense journey led by Shahid Kapoor in the role of Dev Ambre, a relentless police officer determined to bring criminals to justice.
Kapoor dominates the screen with ferocious combat scenes, high-octane chases, and a layered portrayal of a character grappling with his own complexities. The trailer also briefly introduces Pooja Hegde as Diya, along with Pavail Gulati and Kubbra Sait as fellow police officers. However, the spotlight remains firmly on Shahid, who delivers a magnetic performance in this hard-hitting action thriller.

During the teaser launch, Shahid shared his excitement about the film, stating, “Deva is a piece of my heart. For years, I’ve been asked to do a mass entertainer, and this film is that next step in my journey. It’s also been one of the most challenging projects I’ve worked on.”
Directed by renowned Malayalam filmmaker Rosshan Andrrews, who makes his Hindi debut with this project, Deva combines large-scale action sequences with emotionally charged storytelling. The pulsating background score adds to the cinematic thrill, promising an edge-of-your-seat experience.
