Shah Rukh Khan has finally started filming a new movie and is on the verge of breaking his years-long self imposed sabbatical. The actor is currently filming his next, spy-drama with War filmmaker Siddharth Anand, and he will be reuniting with Deepika Padukone on the big screen.
The action-packed thriller addition to the Yash Raj Films’ spy universe will be featuring Shah Rukh Khan, John Abraham and Deepika Padukone in the lead roles and according to a tabloid, Deepika Padukone will be sporting a new look for the movie. According to a source of Pinkvilla, the makers contemplated multiple looks for the suave agent character of Deepika Padukone in the movie and they finalized a short hair look giving a more athletic, rugged and easy-going avatar to the actress.
While the plot of the movie is kept under wraps, the movie will feature Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone as spies and the duo had been experimenting with their looks for some time. While Deepika Padukone will be sporting a boy cut, Shah Rukh Khan has let his hair grow to revisit his Don 2 temperament.
The Siddharth Anand directorial will also feature a cameo from Salman Khan in the climax and taking the story forward in his own movie franchise. Major portions of the movie have been shot and the makers are eyeing for a theatrical release in January next year.
