While the speculations for the cast of the second instalment of the comedy-drama, Dostana, were shooting high, producer Karan Johar earlier announced that Kartik Aaryan and Janhvi Kapoor will take the mantle forward with Dostana 2. However, the third actor in the trio was kept under wraps.
On Thursday morning, Karan took to his social media account to announce the final cast of his upcoming movie and introduced debutant Lakshya. He tweeted, “Both happy and excited to introduce the new kid on the Dharma block! LAKSHYA will be making his debut with us in #DOSTANA2 and from thereon, we hope to start a solid cinematic journey together! Please welcome #Lakshya and shower him with all your love and blessings… (sic)”

On the other hand, Lakshya expressed his share of excitement on being a part of the much-awaited Dostana 2 under the banner of Dharma Productions. Helmed by Tarun Mansukhani, the second instalment of the Dostana franchise is expected to go on the floors soon.
