American actor Ryan Reynolds is currently busy promoting his upcoming movie, Free Guy, and the trailer of the same dropped recently. While the actor can be seen getting run over by multiple cars in the short trailer, Ryan recently revealed that he has been through a similar accident in the real-life as well.

In a recent interview with Xilla Valentine, the Deadpool actor was asked about the ‘most exciting thing’ that happened to him and the actor recalled his most horrific incident. Ryan Reynolds revealed that he was hit by a drunk driver when he was 19-year-old. “I had had a couple of drinks and I didn’t want to get in my car obviously because that’s insane. I walked home and on my way home, I got hit by a drunk driver,” he said.

“I was like, ‘Thanks karma!’ I got run over by a guy who was drunk in the middle of the street,” the actor remembered and added that the next day, he woke up to realise that every bone in his left side was ‘broken’. While Ryan Reynolds mentioned one of his most horrific experiences, he recently escaped a collapsing barricade at the recent Comic-Con Experience in Brazil.

On the work front, Ryan Reynolds will soon be seen on the big screen in the action-comedy, Free Guy, helmed by Shwan Levy and is slated to release on the 3rd of July next year.
