Actor Varun Dhawan and girlfriend Natasha Dalal have been in the headlines lately for their wedding rumors and different media reports suggested different wedding dates and locations for the lovebirds. While in an earlier interview, Natasha Dalal confirmed that a wedding is indeed on the cards, filmmaker and father of Varun Dhawan, David Dhawan, cleared the air about his son’s marriage.
In a recent media interaction, David Dhawan rubbished rumors about the couple getting married and said that media claims to know more about his son than him. “Not again. How many dates and venues will I hear for my son’s wedding? Every week I am told where and when Varun is getting married. They know it better than me,” the director said. David Dhawan further added that the alleged dates and locations about Varun and Natasha’s marriage are not true.
Talking about Varun’s marriage plans, the filmmaker said that the family is not putting any pressure on Varun Dhawan to get married and he will personally announce the wedding dates once it is finalized. “there is no pressure on Varun from the family to get married, and he and his wife will be happy whenever Varun decides to get married,” he said.
On the work front, the father and son will be reuniting for the third time for the remake of classic comedy, Coolie No 1, which also stars Sara Ali Khan in the prominent character. Meanwhile, Varun Dhawan is awaiting the release of dance-drama, Street Dancer 3D, opposite Shraddha Kapoor and Nora Fatehi.
