Harry Potter has been one of the most popular and loved movie series ever. Daniel Radcliffe, who played the titular character in the epic mystic and thriller franchise, is still recognized by his onscreen character but the actor doesn’t want to play ‘Harry Potter’ again in the Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them franchise which is a prequel and a spin-off to the much-loved but concluded Harry Potter franchise.
In a recent media interaction, Daniel Radcliffe was asked if he would return in the spin-off series as ‘Harry Potter’ and the actor had a very determined answer to it. Daniel said that he wouldn’t like to reprise his character in the movie as the audience has moved on with the series. “I like what my life is now. I’m not saying that I’ll never go back into any franchise, but I like the flexibility that I have with my career now. And I don’t want to get into a situation where I’m signed up for one series for years in advance,” added the actor.
Daniel Radcliffe had played the character of a gifted child in a fantasy world from the year 2001 to 2011 when the Harry Potter franchise concluded with the eighth instalment. Daniel will next be seen in the upcoming prison-drama based on a real-life, Escape From Pretoria. Helmed by Francis Annan, the movie is slated to release on the 5th of Mach.
