Following the debut last year, Couture Runway Week held a second season on the 8th and 9th of June at the Crown Plaza Hotel in Delhi. Presented by La Beautica and organized by Global Fashion Federation, Couture Runway Week Season 2, in technical association with International School of Design, proved to be a successful affair yet again.
Founded by Arti Tiwari, the Couture Runway Week had an underlying cause to leverage the platform of fashion to spread cancer awareness. The fashion week witnessed an array of celebrity designers and supermodels at the ramp walk.
The platform promotes young talents in the fashion fraternity and provides them with an opportunity to showcase their talent in front of the local and International audiences. The show curator Arti Tiwari said that the Couture Runway Week focuses on the new generation with new trends to attract and benefit society and simultaneously make fashion youth aware of cancer as much as possible.
The Couture Runway Week Season 2 was commenced with the opening show by designer Rajdeep Ranawat showcasing his impeccable print designs and bid adieu with a fabulous collection by celebrity designers Mehraab (John Marya and Arun Ahuja) as the grand finale act. Ace designers like Amit Talwar and Abdur Rehman also showcased their collection at the two-day fashion event.
The star-studded event witnessed some prominent names of the fashion fraternity including Payal Rohatgi, Sangram Singh, Gayatri Bhardwaj, Ginny Kapoor, Nisha Yadav, and Donal Bhisht along with supermodels Laxmi Rana, Sonalika Shay, Suad Khan, Krishna Somani and Ben.
